Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you use Garden Paper. The site is a static collection of reference pages and keeps data handling to a minimum.
Browser storage and cookies
Garden Paper does not set advertising or analytics cookies. When you respond to the cookie notice on the home page, your choice is saved as a single value in your browser's local storage so the notice does not appear again. This value stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Contact form
The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser to demonstrate a working enquiry form. It does not send the name, email or phone number you type to any server, and that information is cleared when the form resets. To reach us, use the email address listed on the contact section.
Third-party image hosting
Photographs are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser requests an image, the host may receive standard request information such as your IP address, as happens with any externally hosted file. Wikimedia's own privacy practices govern that data.
External links
Pages link to public Canadian government resources and other reference sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave Garden Paper.
